Welcome to Bamanoosh. Welcome to Persian hospitality.
Every nation is known for its culture, and culture is expressed through its food, arts and traditions. This belief has shaped the life and vision of Keivan Kazemi, the founder of Bamanoosh.
For more than twenty years, Keivan has been involved in international projects across the Middle East, Europe and America, spanning Persian art, music and culinary showcases. His lifelong passion has always run through food, music and art, and Bamanoosh is the space where all three unite.
Keivan’s deepest inspiration comes from childhood memories in Iran, visiting relatives in the village during holidays, where food was prepared outdoors by grandparents, uncles and aunts. He recalls the smoky grills, the aromas of saffron and fresh herbs rising from large pots, and the joy of family gathering around traditional dishes. These sensory memories stayed with him and became the driving force behind creating a true home of Persian culture in London.
Bamanoosh was founded with the idea of bringing people together, much like those village gatherings. By preparing ancient recipes in an open kitchen, Keivan invites guests to experience authenticity with all five senses. His mission is simple: to share the beauty, flavour and soul of Persian cuisine with the world.
The culinary heart of Bamanoosh is Ahmad Negahban, a master of Persian cuisine with 25 years of professional experience. For the past 15 years, he has served as head chef in some of London’s most prestigious Persian restaurants.
Cooking has always been Ahmad’s passion, and his expertise lies in maintaining the authenticity of Persian dishes while elevating them for modern diners. From slow-cooked stews to perfectly grilled kebabs, his work reflects the depth, elegance and tradition of Iran’s culinary heritage.
Together, Keivan and Ahmad bring craftsmanship, experience and authenticity to every plate served at Bamanoosh.
