Every nation is known for its culture and every culture is known for its Art, Food and Music. This sums up Persian (Iranian) Cuisine.
My name is Keivan Kazemi, my passion for life has always been through food, music and art. In the past twenty years I have been fortunate to be involved in many international Persian (Iranian)Art, Music and Food projects for many galleries and restaurants from Middle East, Europe and America involving Persian (Iranian)Art, Music and Food.
I have launched some of the best Persian restaurants and decided that it is time to bring it all together and launch my own Persian hub of food and culture.
As a child, when I went to the village to visit relatives during the holidays with my family, it was a time when I was able to see, taste and feel the culture of my heritage. Watching my grandparents, aunts and uncles preparing and cooking together in outdoor kitchens where we could all see what is happening, smelling all the wonderful aromas that surrounded me. These memories have inspired me all my life, it was a wonderful show and I was very lucky to be a part of it.
This is why I have opened up my kitchen at Bamanoosh which translates, “to come and enjoy with us”, so you can see and experience the aromas and taste the food of my culture and heritage. Come and see the food being prepared in our open plan kitchen and feed all your senses with recipes that are over a thousand years old at Bamanoosh.
